YOGA!

Who knew that my bowling night on fridays was going to lead to a yoga night on tuesdays! (and possibly thursdays....I'll let you know how it goes.) My husband came up to me at bowling and said "hey, we're going to Jenny Jillson's yoga class tues. pm at the church". Alrighty then. I like saying "oh, I can't, it's my yoga night" better than "...it's my bowling night", but I'm pretty sure that once the shopping for the mats, and my outfit is done, and I actually have to do the yoga part, my enthusiasm will diminish. Jenny said we may sweat...we'll just see about that. I think she forgot who she was talking to. I don't sweat....I avoid it at all costs. She also said not to eat dinner before class...I think you can die from that, can't you?

such a great idea!

My new strategy for this losing weight thing:

since my 2 favorite things in the world are

1. fast food

2. sleeping

I"m just going to cut out the fast food and go to bed!

Now, I'm not a truck enthusiast. It's really more about what's inside the truck (for me), however, I have seen this truck hanging around parking lots near my store and I think it's the best looking truck I've ever seen! Don't you think my new logo would look great on it?

Pepperberry's doesn't need a truck, but who knows, maybe the owner of this truck (who obviously is logo-less!) would be willing to drive around with my logo on his truck!

3 very loud screams

That scream you all heard at 9:28 yesterday morning was just the zipper on my jeans. Not sure why I thought 1 day on the treadmill (well, more like 25 min., not 24 hours) would make a difference so soon. I did manage to get the jeans on...and leave them on. Ok, I had to leave them on. Taking them off would have required agility moves that I'm not sure I ever possessed, and I was running late, hence, the 2nd loud scream....when I got into my van it became very apparent that sitting down was not going to be an option.

Spandex (code for: keep eating, I'll be happy to grow with you and keep you comfortable), has turned out to be an evil enemy. So are the new longer t-shirts that finally come down long enough to cover your stomach however, now they go clear down to your rear end and just kind of cling there. I thought layering them would be a fun look...NOT. It's especially unflattering when I move and the back rides up and just kind of sits on the ledge above my ass! Yeah, real fashionable.

The third scream? Oh yeah, that was the squirrel I almost hit this morning on my way out of the driveway like a bat out of hell.

the good new is

I'm not up to bacon weight yet! This is a pig scale. The mere image of it was enough to get me on a treadmill tonight...day one of dieting. Serious dieting. Borderline starving. I would love some bacon right now.

Sara and I bought these jars at a yard sale while we were on vacation. She took 2 and I took 2. After speaking with the accountant (my income tax accountant, not my sister / bookwork accountant), it's sounding like I'm going to need alot more of these.

I'm not happy.

wild work week...

my feet hurt and my brain is tired. I am out of ideas and don't have an original thought in my head right now. I can tell you what everyone else is thinking though! The last customer in my store was going home to make pigs in a blanket for her granddaughter's baptism next week, and a jello salad, because she told her daughter-in-law she would since the daughter-in-law decided that she was not going to have it catered afterall.....maybe, my customer says, she will wait to make the pigs in a blanket tomorrow after she checks out the cabbage at the farmers market tomorrow morning. She is very picky about her cabbage and the one she has at home turned out to be sub standard all of a sudden. I guess she had an epiphany. But when would she clean her house? Maybe Sunday, although she wanted to do some tomorrow so she wouldn't have so much to do Sunday. She's tired. She also shared with me that she will be having her family for dinner every sunday starting at advent to light the .......and she went on and on and on. I was reduced to grunts in a matter of seconds...way before the cabbage evaluation.
